Annual Salary: Commensurate with experience
Responsible for strategic planning, implementation, and follow-up of a comprehensive recruitment plan for prospective undergraduate and graduate international students. Duties include, but are not limited to: seeking out new marketing venues; identifying and contracting with affiliates to assist in the recruitment of students from targeted regions; establishing institutional partnerships; building and maintaining contact lists of and relationships with overseas educational advisors, non-governmental agencies (NGO) and counseling agencies; building and maintaining relationships with undergraduate transfer student feeder schools, area high schools, and English as a Second Language institutes; coordinating recruitment support activities with University faculty, currently enrolled international students, and alumni; working with various campus offices in recruitment initiatives including on-campus visitation programs; developing and managing materials for print and web marketing, keeping out-going information current and relevant; and providing information about UA programs to international alumni, prospective students, educational advisors, and agencies. Other related duties as assigned by Director.
Must be able to travel regionally and internationally for considerable lengths of time, work evenings and weekends during peak recruitment seasons, and lift 40 lbs.
A bachelor's degree. Candidates must possess strong oral and written communication skills, be creative and energetic with a high level of initiative; ability to multi-task; have a true commitment to teamwork; proven success in program development and implementation. Skill in using Microsoft Office programs is required.
Qualifications: Master's degree. Experience with recruitment; special event planning; project management; international education and overseas experience; fluent in a foreign language; Experience with social media and the production of materials in various media such as flyers, brochures, booklets, newsletters, web design; experience with document layout software such as In-design, Photo Shop, and Page Maker;
